Position Overview:

As a vital member of our dynamic team committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, the Senior Business Analyst will report to the Senior Director of Information Systems and Business Systems Analyst Lead. This role focuses on driving process improvements and developing Power BI reports to enhance decision-making across the enterprise.

Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools is required.

This position is a night shift position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 9am EST - 6pm EST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive process improvements using Power BI and other analytical tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align process improvement strategies with business objectives.
  • Analyze, optimize, and recommend improvements for business processes.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all Power BI reports.
  • Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
  • Implement data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations as required.
  • Provide training and support on Power BI tools and reports
  • Review, comprehend, and document overarching business objectives, information flow, and process flow within the IS Department.
  • Offer recommendations based on a comprehensive understanding of the team's operations to foster a productive work environment.
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of established processes and reporting tools within the department.
  • Pinpoint inefficiencies and develop optimization reports and recommendations to streamline workflow. Provide consistent updates and feedback throughout the process.
  • Create verbal and visual reports delineating areas of optimization opportunity.
  • Instigate and oversee processes to ensure specific tasks and procedures align with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Power BI, information technologies and systems analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in building executive decks and delivering compelling presentations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven aptitude in assessing business requirements and translating them into practical solutions.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools required.
  • Proficiency in DAX and M-Language required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
