Responsibilities
  • Promote a positive safety culture, adhering to all Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures in alignment with North Ports values.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient communication, including responding to emails and calls, and following up on all work requests. Prioritizing tasks based on the urgency and importance of the work is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and safety.
  • Prepare and review equipment reliability reports and provide relevant improvement strategies; ensure existing maintenance schedules and tasks are reviewed and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Review of activities against original equipment manufacturer (OEM) requirements, bulletins and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation related to maintenance practices and reliability engineering practices.
  • Review and continue development and execution of a reliability centered maintenance (RCM) program.
  • Identify potential problem areas in equipment maintenance activities and implement improvements.
  • Achieve KPI's set in annual objectives such as equipment availability, MMBF, MTTR and EM reduction targets.
  • Ensure that repeat equipment issues are promptly highlighted and addressed, reducing the impact on operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the planning and execution of reliability and improved maintenance-related projects, including evaluating and implementing new technologies and equipment upgrades.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and development of direct reports and technical staff.
  • Develop reports through Power Bi and presenting it to respective section heads.
