The Role

As the Director of Operations - Business Strategist for eCommerce company in the US, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the company. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans, overseeing day-to-day operations, and leading a team of eCommerce professionals to achieve ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to expand Manpower Genius' eCommerce presence and market share

  • Oversee all aspects of eCommerce operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, customer service, and digital marketing

  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making

  • Manage and motivate a high-performing team of eCommerce specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment with the company's overall objectives

  • Monitor key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions to drive continuous optimisation

  • Represent the eCommerce division in senior management meetings and contribute to the company's strategic planning process

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in eCommerce operations, business strategy, and people management

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and expanding eCommerce businesses, preferably within the retail or consumer goods sector

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions

  • Proficient in the use of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and data analysis software

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred
