Role: Cloud Engineer
Work Arrangement: Work From Home
Schedule: Morning Shift

Job Description:

  1. Evaluate libraries, tools, and services for their suitability in various projects.
  2. Lead the implementation of advanced cloud solutions for clients.
  3. Conduct research and document problems, as well as potential solutions.
  4. Develop solutions based on Cloud Native patterns, IoT back-ends, serverless architectures, and highly automated work patterns.
  5. Design and enhance support systems, create response procedures, and coordinate hand-offs to Cloud Operations (CloudOps) Support Engineers.
  6. Assist with the design, estimation, planning, and implementation of client solutions.
  7. Work within Agile or other work methodologies during project delivery efforts.
  8. Engage in customer-facing conversations to present, debate, and explain technical decisions while educating clients.
  9. Continuously learn, research, and stay updated on best practices and emerging capabilities within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem.
  10. Write technical blog posts, give talks at community events, and help achieve certifications in the AWS Partner Community.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or 2+ years of general IT experience (programming, hardware, software, etc.).
  2. 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and configuration management tools.
  3. 2+ years of programming experience using languages such as Python, Node.js, TypeScript, GoLang, Java, or C#.
  4. AWS certifications such as Cloud Architect Associate, SysOps Associate, or Developers Associate.
  5. Intermediate experience building scalable and automated infrastructure.
  6. Proficiency with AWS Lambda and serverless systems.
  7. Experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments.
  8. If Working in the Federal Practice Area: Must be a U.S. Citizen and must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
