Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, particularly in end-to-end (e2e) and integration testing, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Testing: Develop and maintain e2e tests using tools like Playwright, Cypress, and/or Cucumber.
  • Integration Testing: Conduct thorough integration testing using tools such as Jest and PACT.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Team Development: Mentor and upskill QA testers on automation practices to enhance team capabilities.
  • Specialized Testing: Perform testing on Micro Frontends (MFEs) and Serverless architectures, specifically with AWS Lambda.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in e2e and integration testing.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
  • Strong ability to mentor and upskill QA testers in automation tools and practices.
  • Experience in testing Micro Frontends and Serverless architectures, particularly with AWS Lambda.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Bonus: Experience with Storybook for end-to-end testing and visual testing using Chromatic.
