A. SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF JOB:

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the human resources department, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, and supporting the overall strategic goals of the organization. The role involves managing HR staff, administering employee-related programs, and serving as a key liaison between management and employees to foster a positive work environment.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening and interviewing candidates.
  2. Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure a smooth integration of hires into the organization.
  3. Collaborate with department heads and team leaders to understand staffing needs and provide support in workforce planning.
  4. Implement and manage employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and job satisfaction.
  5. Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  6. Manage the administration of employee benefits such as SSS, PagIBIG, Philhealth, and health insurance.
  7. Address employee inquiries related to benefits and compensation.
  8. Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, including setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
  9. Provide support and guidance to managers/team leaders on performance-related issues and employee development.
  10. Oversee the preparation of timekeeping records needed for payroll.
  11. Stay current with HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

C. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Organize and oversee employee recognition programs and events.
  2. Conduct investigations into workplace issues and take appropriate action.
  3. Provide guidance on handling sensitive or confidential matters.
  4. Ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements and ethical standards.
