Job Description

Shift: 5PM - 2AM PHT

The Data Analyst will join the risk and performance team at Arch Investment Management which sits within the Risk and Quantitative Solutions team. The position will support the reporting and data analytics functions covering both the public and private markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks along with contributing to data analytics projects:

  • Assist with daily cash monitoring, reconciliations, and controls.
  • Extract and summarize data from systems (such as Clearwater, eFront, Aladdin, and Bloomberg) to produce daily performance and risk reports.
  • Review and aggregate data fields for ingestion into Power BI interface.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly performance reports for internal teams and other Arch stakeholders.
  • Evaluate data quality and completeness.
Qualifications

Technical Skills Proficiency Level Required (R) /Optional (O)

  • Microsoft Excel 3 R
  • Bloomberg 1 O
  • Power BI 2 O

The ideal candidate will have worked closely in an investment related role such as performance reporting or data collection and analysis. Additional qualifications include:

  • Strong organizational skills and very detail-oriented.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to tackle complex data challenges.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to different target audiences.
Additional Information
  • BS in Business, Economics, Information Management, Statistics, or related discipline.
