Our partner, a leading insurance group managing workers' insurance and injured workers' compensation claims in Australia for 110 years, is hiring for a Project and Transition Manager Together with their Australian partners, employers, medical providers, and customers, they drive industry-leading return-to-work outcomes and safe work initiatives.
As the Project & Transition Manager, you will operate in an outcome-driven environment, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. This role is crucial in collaborating with departmental process owners throughout the organization to integrate processes, data, people, and technology across the value chain while developing frameworks and solutions to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm/3.15pm to 12.15am.
- Location: BGC, Taguig.
- Set-up: Hybrid, work onsite for 2 to 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project management efforts, enhancing and streamlining processes; facilitate the sharing of knowledge on process improvements, perform basic data analysis, and support tasks related to data privacy.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber team members; manage inductions, coach for continuous improvement, provide regular feedback, address poor performance, ensure role clarity, and use feedback for ongoing training.
- Lead and develop an effective team by modeling the organization's values, managing performance, aligning team capabilities with business objectives, addressing skill gaps, fostering knowledge sharing for continuous improvement, and staying updated with leadership practices.
- Collaborate with HR to manage learning solutions and development programs for skills enhancement across the organization.
- Manage the design, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance standards for the organization's operations and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance requirements while identifying and managing risks.
Skills, Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience (mid-senior level) in project management; workflow, resource, and project management experience are essential.
- Must have Lean Six Sigma certification (preferably a Green Belt or higher, but open to other levels).
- Proficiency in using Google Suite or Office 365 Tools including Power Automate/Power BI, Forms, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- People management experience, including coaching and developing team members.
- Experience in an Australian company or offshore industry is a plus.
