Job Summary:The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, which include organizations, branches, or departments referring patients to home health services. This role is responsible for managing incoming referrals, ensuring seamless communication with patients and accounts, and overseeing account-related operations to maintain high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Referral Management:

    • Process incoming referrals and ensure timely coordination of services.
    • Communicate with patients to provide guidance and answer inquiries regarding home health services.
    • Report updates and patient progress back to the referring accounts.
  • Account Oversight & Communication:

    • Monitor inboxes, reports, and other communication channels for updates and follow-ups.
    • Review schedules for field representatives, develop action plans, and finalize schedules for upcoming days.
    • Evaluate both new and existing accounts, developing strategic plans for engagement and growth.
    • Conduct personal meetings with account representatives, document key takeaways, and relay relevant information to the internal team.
    • Review team account updates, call notes, and develop outlines for ongoing account management.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Attend and actively participate in meetings with internal teams and external accounts.
    • Provide timely updates to the team regarding account developments, patient progress, and operational adjustments.
    • Work closely with field staff, intake teams, and other departments to ensure a smooth patient referral process.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Foreign-trained physician or nurse with relevant healthcare experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently and maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Proficiency in reviewing reports, handling schedules, and ensuring effective collaboration among teams.
  • Experience in home health services or patient coordination is a plus.

This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can build and maintain strong relationships with referring accounts while ensuring seamless patient care transitions.
