Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Data Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise-wide data and analytics initiatives. This role will be instrumental in defining and managing data products that drive business value, with strong collaboration across data architecture, governance, and engineering teams. The successful candidate will play a critical role in transforming data into strategic assets that support and accelerate business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the data product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Communicate the data product roadmap clearly across all stakeholders
  • Define value propositions and advocate for data products across the business
  • Gather and define business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Align data product development with broader business goals and priorities
  • Lead the development of new data products and the enhancement of existing features
  • Organize stakeholder reviews and deliver engaging product demos
  • Drive quantitative and qualitative outcomes aligned with the data transformation strategy
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery: from requirements gathering to development and implementation
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with changing needs
  • Represent the voice of the user and champion customer satisfaction
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of data infrastructure supporting the products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product managers for data sharing, releases, and publication
  • Partner with architecture and delivery teams to align on scalable technical designs
  • Uphold high data quality standards and minimize data debt
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing product maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in data and analytics, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain industries
  • 5+ years in technical project management or delivery management roles focused on data and analytics
  • Certification in Data Product Management or Project Management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus
  • Strong communication and data storytelling abilities to convey complex ideas effectively
  • Proven ability to work with engineers, business users, and product teams
  • Comfortable adapting to rapidly evolving business priorities and customer needs
  • Experience with data engineering, pipeline architecture, and data platform technologies
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, modeling, and performance metrics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a bias for action
