JOB TITLE: Senior Manager: Special Projects

JOB GRADE: D4 Minimum Midpoint

Salary Range: 1,074,355 - 1,263,947

NO. OF INCUMBENTS: 1

LOCATION: Seda National Office

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To formulate and manage (plan, organise, control, and lead) the rollout and implementation strategies of all Special Projects involving the Enterprise Development Division Network, and ensure participation of all stakeholders involved in the value chain.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Develop and manage the execution of a strategy and framework for the roll-out and implementation of all Special Projects and other sector-based programmes.
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships in the public and private sectors for the implementation of all Special Projects and other sector-based programmes.
  • Ensure detailed monthly reporting on all Programmes.
  • Manage and oversee the utilization of the applicable portals & application systems by the network.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Matric (NQF Level 4) and a Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) plus Honours (NQF Level 8) or Post Graduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in Economics, Business Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
  • Master's Degree (NQF Level 9) is an added advantage.
  • A qualification in Project Management is an added advantage.
INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 8-10 years' experience in the development, design, and management of small enterprise support programmes, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency and experience in Project/Programme Management.
  • Understanding of small enterprise development sector.
  • Experience in managing the implementation of small enterprise programmes.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury regulations, and other legislation is advantageous.
  • Ability to develop, monitor, and evaluate Programmes.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement at all levels.
