POSITION PURPOSE Why does this position exist?

To actively contribute to the company vision of making holiday dreams come true by ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and taxation compliance through ensuring robust processes for financial accountability and reconciliation processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES What does this position aim to do?

1. Reporting to the US Parent entity under USGAAP for entities in Singapore and China.
2. Statutory Reporting in Singapore and China, including assisting in preparation of Financial Statements and management of external audits.
3. Responsible for producing accurate financial ledgers while meeting strict US Head Office reporting deadlines.
4. Ensuring tight Balance Sheet control and absolute accuracy and integrity.
5. Ensuring strong internal controls focus across the team.
6. Assisting with technical accounting reviews, position papers and correct treatment of new revenue streams, property acquisitions and non-routine transactions.
7. Meeting taxation requirements for Singapore and China, including corporate income tax, VAT and WHT compliance, transfer pricing, taxation business support and research.
8. Support US Corporate taxation deliverables.
9. Coordinate and provide payroll details to payroll consultant for payroll processing.
10. Liaise with IT teams to implement business system enhancements.
11. With VP Finance update and maintain policies and procedures when new procedures and processes are implemented.
12. Review of current and new processes, systems, and procedures to remove waste, reduce cost, improve quality and delight our customers.
13. Share best practices within and across the business segments.
14. Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to Workplace Health and Safety ensuring the safety of yourself and all other people who may be affected by your conduct in the workplace.
15. Display CARE to all internal and external parties.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS What should the position holder be and have?

1. Accounting Degree or Equivalent
2. Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
3. Experience in both a public accounting and commercial environment would be advantageous.
4. Experience in a multinational reporting entity or listed environment
5. Able to read Chinese is advantageous
6. Experience in Statutory Reporting and Income Tax Compliance
7. Exposure/experience to USGAAP accounting is advantageous
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
