  • One or more years of teaching experience
About the role

As a Virtual Teacher at Proximity Learning, your mission is to connect learners with expert teachers through technology, promoting educational equity. You will create engaging lessons, utilize online tools, teach live classes, evaluate student work, and provide constructive feedback, all in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
  • Utilize online tools to differentiate instruction and engage students
  • Teach live lessons during regular school hours (minimum 4 hours)
  • Grade assignments and provide feedback to support student growth
  • Represent the Proximity Learning brand positively in all interactions

Hardware requirements include a laptop or desktop (Windows 10/11 or MacOS 10.14+), two monitors, and reliable internet (minimum 50 Mbps download).

This is a fully remote, part-time position with flexible scheduling, no in-person commitments, and provided curriculum and virtual tools.
