This is a full-time role for an Information Technology Infrastructure Manager at Pluxee Philippines. The role is primarily located in Makati but allows for some work from home. The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for overseeing IT operations, network security, system administration, and troubleshooting on a day-to-day basis.

The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of Pluxee Philippines' IT infrastructure, ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of both on-premise and with main focus on Azure Cloud Infrastructure. This role involves managing the company's IT environment, focusing on migrating on-premise servers to the Azure Cloud, optimizing infrastructure performance, and ensuring continuous system availability. The Infrastructure Manager will also lead efforts to innovate, scale, and enhance the IT infrastructure in line with business goals and technological advancements.

  • Complex Hybrid IT Environment: The Infrastructure Manager will oversee the management and optimization of on-premise and Azure Cloud-based systems, requiring expertise in both environments. As the primary point of contact (POC) for the migration of on-premise infrastructure to the Azure cloud, the Infrastructure Manager will leverage in-depth knowledge of both Linux and Windows Server platforms. Hands-on experience with core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File/Print Services, and Group Policies is essential to ensure smooth operations and security across the infrastructure.
  • Scalability and Performance: Ensuring that the IT infrastructure is scalable and high-performing, especially during peak business periods, will be a key responsibility. The Infrastructure Manager will drive initiatives to optimize system performance and support business growth by implementing best practices in infrastructure design, capacity planning, and resource management.
  • Vendor and Service Provider Management: The Infrastructure Manager will manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services. This includes negotiating contracts, managing service-level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining continuous communication to ensure vendor performance meets company standards.

  • Experience with cloud computing technologies
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or CompTIA are a plus

Proficiency in network design, routing, switching, and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF). Expertise in cloud networking solutions, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, and cloud-based DNS. Experience with Palo Alto Networks devices, including firewalls and security solutions, is highly preferred. (Hands-On Experience is Required)

Extensive experience with server hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), and virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration frameworks for managing scalable infrastructure is essential.

Additional Qualifications:

  • High skilled in Windows or Linux OS for servers
  • Monitoring solutions infra and cloud oriented
  • Experience in virtual environments (Vmware, HyperV)
  • Azure skills to deploy and support infrastructure
  • Administration/delivery on public cloud (Azure preferably)
  • Backup/storage solutions
  • Very good understanding of network infrastructures (LAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN)
  • Very good experience in monitoring tools
