What You Will Be Doing

The Technology department has an opening for an Application Services - Service Delivery Leader. This role requires leadership responsibilities across multiple teams, including:

  • Application Support
  • Application Maintenance
  • Application Development
  • Application Operational Requests and Enhancements
  • Application Releases and Deployment
  • Application Monitoring
  • Application Lifecycle Management
  • Application Vulnerability Management
  • Automation and Transformation

Responsibilities include:

  • Quick resolution of customer-facing incidents through diagnosis, isolation, and debugging of production issues.
  • Driving post-incident root cause analysis efforts.
  • Partnering with development engineers to implement corrections for supported applications.
  • Providing technical guidance for diagnosing issues in critical applications.
  • Facilitating collaboration among IT and product groups for optimal performance.
  • Contributing to the design, implementation, and enhancement of services and applications.
  • Performing proactive analysis to prevent production incidents.
  • Implementing performance monitoring and automated alerts for critical services.
  • Participating in production turnover activities for new platforms and technologies.
  • Interfacing with engineering teams to understand technology and business needs.
  • Adhering to incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Maintaining incident and problem documentation.
  • Preparing change documentation and fixes for recurring issues.
  • Creating and updating knowledge articles in ServiceNow.
  • Providing knowledge transfer sessions to peers and offshore teams.
  • Collaborating with vendors on improvements.
  • Fostering teamwork and managing multiple work streams.
  • Supporting customer-facing activities, including after-hours on-call rotations.

The Senior Manager oversees daily operations within a subfunction or function in a single country, reporting to sub-function or function heads. Responsibilities include leading teams, developing strategies, and managing regional projects. The role involves strategic planning, regional impact, and acting as second in command in the absence of the Group Director. Ensures alignment with business goals and supports company-wide programs, employee welfare, and compliance.
