Overview

Record to Report Process Specialist at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Hybrid work environment; applicants open to working in the office two days a week are encouraged to apply. Location: Makati City, Metro Manila. Employment type: Permanent. Work setup: Hybrid (office two days a week). Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Manila time, overlaps with UK operating hours. Pay range: Php 33,000 to 43,000 per month. This role supports accounting for Sales Support Offices in ROW (Europe, Middle East, and Asia) as part of Cambridge University Press & Assessment."

What will you do
  • Perform period-end accounting tasks such as posting journals, accounting analysis, and BPC submission.
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
  • Complete year-end audit deliverables as required and liaise with external auditors.
  • Involve in external reporting by providing required accounting documents to BDO accountants on a monthly basis.
  • Manage accounting inquiries from office admin managers.
What makes you the ideal candidate

Essential:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Records to Report Accounting, General Ledger.
  • Good understanding of Records to Report Processes (Month End Closing Activities, Intercompany Transactions, Balance Sheet Reconciliations).
  • Intermediate level Excel skills (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF).
  • Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues in the Finance Shared Service center.
  • Knowledge in SAP and SAP Concur.
  • Knowledge in IFRS.
