Role Summary:

This role is responsible for organizing, uploading, and categorizing vendor invoices, as well as assisting with daily transaction reconciliation across multiple entities in a healthcare organization. The Accounts Payable Specialist focuses on accurate transaction classification and invoice management and does not handle bill payments or expense reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage AP inboxes for each entity and retrieve vendor invoices
  • Upload and classify invoices into QuickBooks Online (QBO) for the respective entity
  • Categorize and reconcile daily bank and credit card transactions
  • Support monthly reconciliation of simple accounts
  • Maintain organized digital records of invoices and transaction classifications
  • Collaborate with the internal accounting team to ensure timely and accurate AP processing
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to clarify vendor charges when needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Bookkeeping
  • Minimum of 1 year experience using QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
  • Must have stable employment history
