The Role: Client Service API Analyst

The Team: The Client Service API team is responsible for the client implementation and ongoing support of our Machine to Machine offering. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting and ensuring that the client experience is maximized. The team also partners with global sales teams to pursue growth opportunities and adaptation of our products. The Impact: You will partner closely with clients as well as internal stakeholders from Commercial, Product Management, and Technology, based across the globe. You will be communicating directly with clients to understand their requirements as well as perform BAU support. Remote training, implementation planning, and problem-solving are key components for the role. This position is also responsible for acting as a knowledgeable resource and eventually a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

  • Develop client support expertise and knowledge, positioning you well in a variety of future roles in Client Service Operations, as well as broader Commercial Operations and Technology functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Showcase best practice for S&P Global Commodity Insights API support model; partner with colleagues from Commercial, Product, and Technology teams.

  • Triage requests from clients and provide support for items within the API Team's scope; collaborate with various resolver groups for other types of requests.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues and outages, liaise with Technology teams for resolution and facilitate and manage client communications.

  • Replicate and analyze client-reported bugs and share findings with Product/Development teams for resolution.

  • Share feature/enhancement requests to internal teams.

  • Proactive monitoring of API and Snowflake usage using internal tools.

  • Develop basic API integration scripts and/or guides for common programming languages and tools.

  • Support the design of self-service APIs, web portals, and self-service tools.

  • Participate in out-of-hours support when required.

  • Amenable to work in Pasig Office (Tiendesitas area).

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Relevant experience in application support.

  • Excellent customer support skills, both written and oral, with the ability to manage complex conformance circumstances.

  • Technology-related analytical skills and troubleshooting expertise (Root Cause Analysis, Troubleshooting, and Diagnostics).

  • Knowledge and/or experience with RESTful APIs (HTTP methods, OData).

  • Understanding of Commodity markets is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Database, DataLake– Oracle, Databricks, Snowflake is a plus.

  • Proficient in Mandarin Language (Both Written and Oral preferably)

The Schedule: Ability to work in rotational shifts (APAC, EMEA, and US Hours).
