Job Title: Civil Engineer

Project: Transmission Line and Switching Station Construction

Location: Alabat, Quezon Province

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Civil Engineer to join our team in the construction of 69kV and above transmission lines and switching stations. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in managing and delivering high-voltage infrastructure projects. The position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and compliance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the design, planning, and construction of 69kV and above transmission lines and switching stations.
  2. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure project requirements are met.
  3. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  4. Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and specifications for compliance with industry standards.
  5. Perform site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
  6. Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety protocols.
  7. Identify and address technical and logistical challenges during the construction.
  8. Implement risk management strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  9. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, surveyors, and contractors.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (licensed professional engineer).
  2. 8-10 years of proven experience in the construction of high-voltage transmission lines (69kV and above) and switching stations.
  3. Must have experience in Philippine Building Code, NGCP Standards, local construction standards, and environmental regulations.
  4. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, structural analysis, and materials used in high-voltage projects.
  5. Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work on-site in Quezon Province and travel as required.
  7. Knowledge of renewable energy integration with transmission systems.
