
HR Business Partner with Relocation Assistance

The People Partner (HRBP) is an internal consultant providing an enabling business support role. The role may be Specialist or Generalist in nature. The HRBP is a trusted partner and has a seat at the leadership table for the programs they handle, working on medium to longer term objectives.
OverviewPurpose of the role: Lead the professional area, bring evidence-based practice into the organization, and address people challenges for their area of expertise. Support organization effectiveness by developing and implementing solutions aligned to strategy. Lead the HR vision, role modelling great personal and team leadership, and ensure the HR Operating Model is embedded successfully.
Responsibilities- Contribute to and, where accountable, define policies and processes that support the company and program/People strategy and objectives.
- Use and understand Ubiquity People tools and policies; engage with program clients to ensure their use across the organization.
- Drive consistency of approach across the company in attracting, managing and developing talent to support current and future organizational needs.
- Work closely with all Ubiquity People colleagues to ensure tools and policies are aligned, enhance employee engagement, and improve performance.
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of tools and policies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide expert input across a range of HR issues (generalist or specialist); design and deliver high impact solutions that meet business needs.
- Coach and build the capability of people managers to anticipate and pre-empt organizational issues.
- Participate in relevant projects, leading and championing as appropriate (site-wide and/or global-wide) to uphold the company's reputation as a world-class organization and employer of choice.
- Keep up to date with external trends and HR best practices; drive improvements in tools and policies through market trends and internal insights.
- Proactively share best practice, intelligence, and potential Ubiquity-wide activities within the HR function; build relationships with external counterparts and stakeholders to explore innovations and partnerships.
- Understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnose underlying issues, and build the business case for change; plan and manage continuous change including dependencies and risk mitigation.
- Ensure minimum satisfactory ratings on internal and external HR audits.
- Onsite work required; night shift schedule may be required. Relocation assistance available to Bacolod (1 month accommodation, allowance, and 1-way ticket).
- At least 5 years of relevant HR experience (generalist or specialist) in large complex organizations with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships).
- At least 2 years of extensive experience operating in a business partner model with local managers to create positive business outcomes.
- Knowledge of current thinking in Human Resources issues and trends; evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Initiative: able to originate action and be responsible for the consequences of decisions.
- Communication and influence: effectively present arguments to stakeholders; resolve high-profile conflicts when necessary.
- Adaptability: work effectively with diverse situations and groups; understand and adapt to different perspectives.
- Personal effectiveness: manage emotions under pressure; maintain commitment and motivation.
- Problem solving: simplify complex problems, identify causal relationships, and translate proposals into practical actions.
- Resilience and accountability: uphold HR reputation and take responsibility for HR outcomes.
- Commercial awareness: understand value drivers of the organization and model company values and behaviours.
- Willingness to relocate and work onsite/night shifts as required.
