The position is primarily responsible for demand creation to achieve territory sales objectives, managing the territory, building relationships with customers, developing business, implementing programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and handling administrative requirements for molecular diagnostics.

This role involves creating demand for assays/tests, troubleshooting, and coordinating with Sales, Application, and Service Engineers regarding hardware-related concerns.

The position requires 80% field customer visits and 20% office work for administrative tasks or flexible work arrangements.

The role involves high exposure to hospital-borne diseases and travel-related hazards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure achievement of sales targets, penetrate new accounts, implement marketing programs, and meet call rate standards to deliver sales results, including data analysis for business decisions.
  • Prepare and present territory performance during Business Review meetings and communicate product messages to customers during calls, including customer profiling, product demonstrations, and application training.
  • Coordinate with Distribution Center and Sales Operations for customer bookings and sales order processing to meet sales targets, manage accounts, address complaints, and develop new accounts.
  • Develop business proposals to generate demand and sales, manage account receivables, adhere to policies, and submit required reports.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and gatekeepers, coordinate bidding requirements, and work with Sales, Application, and Service Engineers for equipment issues and maintenance.
  • Provide regular product forecasts, manage inventory, monitor purchase orders, and ensure timely fulfillment, including preparing quotations with margins.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of a four-year course, preferably in Medical Technology, Nursing, or Molecular Biology.
  • At least one year of experience in Diagnostics and Laboratory markets.
  • Basic knowledge of Molecular Biology, sales skills, key account management, and computer applications.
    • Team player, proactive, positive attitude, eager to learn, and trainable.
