Job Description:

The Facilities Technician 2 will report to the Manager of Facilities Operations and Maintenance. Responsibilities include:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
  • Maintain and operate HVAC systems, electrical equipment, CDA systems, PVAC system, and building repair.
  • Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting operations.
  • Monitor and supervise Facilities preventive Maintenance agreements.
  • Respond to emergency issues.
  • Prepare and submit reports on facilities system conditions with recommended actions.
  • Understand and review equipment operation, BMS, HVAC, CDA, PVAC, RODI, and other systems.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
  • Support after-hours facilities operations and maintenance activities as needed.
  • Attend training sessions and seminars.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma and Technical Certification related to Facilities systems.
  • 2-3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to generate detailed, accurate reports.
