Overview
  • To lead and supervise all the Branch channel activities in order to achieve predetermined KPIs;
  • Responsible for day-to-day supervision of branch service delivery and operations ensuring increased productivity in terms of cost reduction and channel profitability, adherence to premises standards, complaints management and compliance to regulations & policies.
  • Responsible for the efficient delivery of the Bank's products and services through effective management of Branch Operations, Customer Service, staff and resources, and ensure compliance to policies and procedures.
How you will contribute
  • Ensures excellent and seamless delivery at the Branch - accurate, timely, responsive, as well as smooth flow of Branch operations through fast and efficient disposition of daily transactions
  • Maintaining adequate control in the handling of accountable forms and other relevant documents
  • Complements the Branch Head in achieving the business generation and profit objectives of the Branch by accomplishing or acquiring sales target
  • Facilitates the amplification of bank's benefit by executing some critical job functions such as:
  • Reviewing/approving the opening of new peso/dollar accounts and placements, roll-over or termination and payments of matured SSA, TD and other products and all transactional tickets beyond Teller's limit
  • Reviewing/approving Branch's transaction up to established limit
  • Approving interbranch withdrawals/encashments up to authority limit
  • Co-signing MCs, DDs, other negotiable instruments & internal tickets up to limits set per authority
  • Balancing the Branch's Totals vs. Teller's Totals and source documents of all the terminal processo
  • Custodian of returned checks and in-charge of releasing the returned checks to clients in the absence of Service Officer.
  • Handling and approving of inward clearing checks and outward clearing items
  • Conducting KYC for new accounts opening and approving of the same.
  • Cash in Vault custodian
  • Accountable forms custodian
  • Serving as alternate to Service Officer/Sales Associate when needed
  • Approves account opening documents uploaded to EDMS
  • Approves signature cards uploaded to SVS
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements/guidelines.
  • Reviewing mishandled accounts, recommends action to BH
What we are looking for
  • Graduate of any four (4) year business course
  • Relevant Field Experience: Minimum five (5) years banking experience.
  • Banking Experience: Teller, New Accounts, Service Officer
  • Knowledge in handling and supervising branch operations
  • Knowledge in branch operations policies/procedures
  • Customer service oriented
