What is the job?

The Hotel Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients. This role involves promoting the hotel's facilities and services to corporate, government, and leisure clients, managing accounts, and maximizing occupancy and profitability. The Sales Executive will play a vital role in achieving the hotel's sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

People

  1. Maintains highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and colleagues.
  2. Displays a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
  3. Promotes efficiency, confidence, courtesy, and an extremely high standard of social skills.
  4. Generally, promotes and ensures good inter-departmental relations.

Guest Experience

  1. Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
  2. Handle client inquiries, provide tailored solutions, and ensure exceptional service.
  3. Act as liaison between clients and hotel operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Financial

  1. Work with Front Office and Finance team for proper billing and issuance of SOA to guests.
  2. Any other tasks required by the Sales Manager.

Responsible Business

  1. Actively seek new business opportunities through networking, telemarketing, cold calling, sales visits, and referrals.
  2. Identify and develop corporate, group, and leisure accounts to increase room nights and revenue.
  3. Negotiate and close sales agreements to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  4. Promote hotel packages, event spaces, and ancillary services.
  5. Prepare proposals and contracts.
  6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  7. Develop and implement sales strategies to remain competitive.
  8. Contribute to pricing and promotional strategies based on market insights.
  9. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs for the Sales Manager.
  10. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and bookings.
  11. Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns and materials.

Accountabilities

  1. Prepares contracts, GIS and BEOs.
  2. Conduct coordination/ BEO meetings.
  3. Collaborate with clients to plan events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
  4. Work with the Team to manage the smooth operation of meetings and events.

What we need from you

  1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 2-3 years experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or a related field.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and hotel property management systems.
  5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Knowledge of the local market and trends in the hospitality industry.
  7. Results-driven with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
