In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities
  1. Providing application support: Perform Application Monitoring for jobs and processes using direct access of logs and platform admin console or use of tools like AI Ops.
  2. Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality. Managing the incident lifecycle and owning the same until closure and satisfaction of originator.
  3. Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
  4. Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics. Providing desk and on-call support.
  5. Operating in a Shift model to provide 24x7 application support coverage.
  6. Implementing platform upgrades and regression testing.
  7. Performing user administration tasks like creation, deletion, modification, profile updates, password resets, etc.
  8. Ensuring application performance to expected levels through proactive and preventive maintenance.
  9. Preparing and collating metrics of tasks, incidents, and environment change actions performed.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Extensive experience in Salesforce Platform Services which includes Salesforce.com, Configuration and administration, Apex Code, Visual Force.
  • Fluent in Japanese language (speaking, as well as reading and writing kanji).
  • Able to translate English to Japanese and vice versa.
  • Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift, mid-shift, night-shift) and in any IBM location in Quezon City (Eastwood and/or UP Ayala Technohub) or Cebu.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • JLPT N1-N3 certification is preferred.
