Job Description

Supervising the Transport and Distribution /Logistics Operations in the assigned area, ensuring complete accuracy and in the most time-efficient and cost-effective manner.

Taking the lead in ensuring that excellent distribution services are being provided to the customers.

Plans shipments and deliveries, thereby ensuring optimum utilization of time, vehicle space, and route.

Ensures 100% accuracy of Logistics Operations from documentation to actual deliveries and guarantees 100% DIFOT (Delivery In-Full/ On-Time) is achieved in each shipment or delivery transaction.

3PL Accreditation and Services Assessment.

Reviews monthly invoice monitoring report and completes transmittal of the consolidated blue copy of Charge Invoice to Credit & Collection Department.

Prepares formal requests for additional personnel (contractual or regular) under his/her department, as approved by the Department Manager.

Collaborates with the HRD Performance Management Section in conducting a job analysis to clearly define the essential functions, competencies, and requirements of the job, considering the required knowledge, skills, and attitude.

Evaluates and appraises personnel's work performance according to set standards and criteria, discusses key areas of improvement, and recommends promotion, demotion, or termination.

Reviews and endorses or approves applicable accounting (PCV, PRF, other reimbursements) and timekeeping files (attendance, Leave applications, Missed Punch certifications, Overtime, Undertime, etc.) of direct and indirect reports.

Ensures that supervised staff members are adequately trained, identifies training needs with Human Resources, and motivates subordinates to utilize their full potential.

Fosters and maintains healthy employee relationships within the department and outside the area of responsibility, initiating proper and fair discipline when necessary.
