Marketing Associate

Reports directly to: AVP - Strategic Business Growth

Primary Function

Under the direction of the AVP of Strategic Business Growth, the Marketing Associate will work in a fast-paced, professional environment while partnering and providing professional support for management, officers, and co-employees to promote, maintain, and expand the company business. This position works to strengthen the company's ability to maintain and improve existing business, and to create, expand, and launch new business and/or enterprises.

  • Must be able to proactively work with a solutions-oriented approach to problems.
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Must be able to work with or without supervision while setting priorities and taking initiative.
  • Must have an above-average proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ideally possesses a driver's license.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or its equivalent or proven experience in marketing.
  • Creativity in idea generation and problem-solving.
  • Thoroughness in completing tasks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company.
  • A valid driver's license preferred, but not required.

Major Responsibilities

  • Work with other teams and departments to coordinate and collaborate on the production of marketing collaterals and properties.
  • Recommend and execute solutions that will drive brand awareness, leads and demand generation, customer acquisition, and engagement.
  • Research and assist in the execution of various strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with the assessment and execution of various strategic efforts, including potential product expansion.
  • Maintain and analyze the necessary documents, data, and insights to drive intelligent business decisions.
  • Establish, develop, maintain, and update the filing system for the department.
  • Take messages or field/answer all routine and non-routine questions.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and proofread reports, general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, etc.
  • Communicate and escalate any important information to the AVP of Strategic Business Growth.
  • Support department objectives as may be required with projects/tasks.
