The Corporate Planning Manager will assist the Primer Group's Executive and Management team in creating, communicating, and sustaining strategic initiatives through the execution of the strategic planning process. He/she will work closely with the heads of Strategic Business Units and Partners, as well as external experts, to incorporate industry best practices with the Primer Group's unique capabilities & requirements in the creation of corporate plans. The role will report to the Assistant Vice President - Corporate Strategy & Planning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Reviews existing strategic objectives and prepares corporate business plan and presentation with an annual, 3-year, and 5-year perspective

● Organize end to end Enterprise corporate planning activities from Board Exercise to Monthly business planning meetings.

● Forecasts corporate budget, conducts analysis of resulting P&L statements, and provides recommendation for subsequent budget preparation

● Studies corporate performance by looking at the various business units on an integrated macro perspective; monitors industry trends & regulatory requirements; and assess the potential impact of these factors to overall business operations.

● Provide timely management analysis of financial information and reports

● Gathers research data and information relevant to the industry and related businesses including market and economic movements that may affect the business; and recommends necessary action as needed. Assists in the performance of due diligence when acquiring new businesses in the form of brands, licenses, entire companies, and the like; with the end goal of conducting financial valuation for the acquisition

● Perform ad-hoc tasks relevant to the function and business, as required by the Immediate Leader

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management, Economics, Finance or equivalent

  • At least four (4) years of working experience in the related field in a managerial capacity gained

  • Strategic Planning and Influencing

  • Critical Thinking and Analysis

  • Detail Oriented with ability to transition to Macro perspective

  • Risk Management & Contingency Planning
