Production Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will be primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with product formulation standards set by the laboratory and process standards set by the production heads in collaboration with the laboratory. The engineer will also lead investigations into product quality issues, whether recurring or one time, as well as drive initiatives to eliminate delays in production and make production process more agile (quick turnaround vis-à-vis Warehouse / customer order).

The Process Engineer will likewise assist the Production Department head in optimizing production output while maintaining efficiency targets given machine, manpower and raw material constraints across the company's different product lines. This may at some point include:

  • Identifying design and effective capacity of existing equipment

  • Creating daily Production job schedules that makes full use of available Production capacity to address finished goods inventory requirements of the Warehouse Department / Sales within agreed timelines

  • Determining daily Production manpower allocation / job assignments needed to execute daily job schedules while ensuring that direct labor and overhead costs are minimised

  • Cascading daily Production job schedule to Raw Materials Preparation department and making adjustments to the schedule if needed

The Process Engineer will report to the Production Department head and may also be tapped to assist with daily production department reports presented to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

  • PRC-licensed Chemist or Chemical Engineer preferred

  • Fresh graduates without work experience are welcome to apply

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Computer literate

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Fluent in both English and Tagalog
