Paralegal Associate

Corporate Housekeeping:
- Take charge of tasks/documentation not directly related to contracts management.
- Handle applications, renewals, and amendments of governmental and business documents with relevant agencies.
- Prepare and file Secretary's Certificates, GIS, and other SEC-related documents.
- Register with AMLA, NPC, and other applicable regulatory agencies.
- Organize legal documents to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a systematic and up-to-date database of corporate records, ensuring secure storage of confidential documents like contracts and correspondence.
- Take note of deadlines for licenses, renewals, and other compliance requirements.
- Serve as the Secretariat for the department, managing calendars, cases, and administrative activities while preparing notices and minutes.
Contract Management:
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, vendor agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, policies, opinions, certificates, and related matters.
- Conduct due diligence for agreements and contracts.
- Perform fieldwork as required by the role.
- Conduct preliminary legal research and provide insights as necessary.
- Monitor updates to laws, rules and regulations applicable to lending and financing companies, ensuring the company is continuously informed of changes.
- Support labor relations by preparing notices, demand letters, and other HR-related documentation.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned.
Ad Hoc Tasks:
- Serve as a liaison between the department and other units.
- Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned.
