We're expanding our architectural team and seeking a Senior Architect with extensive experience in permit documentation and code compliance.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Architect, you'll be responsible for preparing building permit sets, ensuring documentation aligns with local council regulations, and coordinating with consultants to deliver compliant and buildable designs. You must have solid experience working on Australian projects, and a strong grasp of BCA/NCC, council processes, and relevant codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings for building permit applications (town planning, construction drawings, etc.) using Revit

  • Ensure all documentation is fully compliant with the National Construction Code (NCC), local council regulations, and Australian standards

  • Coordinate with structural, civil, MEP consultants to ensure integrated, buildable documentation

  • Work closely with building surveyors, engineers, consultants, and the internal design team

  • Revise drawings and documentation in response to RFI or feedback from council/building surveyors

  • Interpret and apply planning overlays, zoning codes, and bushfire/flood regulations

  • Produce high-quality working drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules

  • Assist in the preparation of documents required for Development Applications (DA), Construction Certificates (CC), and Building Permits

  • Maintain drawing registers and track permit submission milestones

  • Participate in design development and ensure consistency with project goals

  • Conduct site reviews remotely (via site photos, markups, and builder feedback)

  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes in the NCC and state-specific requirements

Required Qualifications:
Licensed Architect (Philippines)
Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years working on Australian architectural projects
Deep understanding of the BCA/NCC, local council regulations, and DA/CDC/Building Permit processes
Highly proficient in Revit andAutoCAD for modelling, detailing, documentation workflows
Experienced in preparing permit drawing sets and construction documents
Strong coordination experience with consultants and surveyors
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to work independently in a remote setup and meet deadlines consistently
High attention to detail, excellent drafting and documentation standards
Strong verbal and written communication skills
