Your Role as Senior LAMP Stack Developer

As a Senior LAMP Stack Developer (or as we like to call it, Code Wizard), you'll be the creative force behind building and maintaining web-based solutions. You'll collaborate closely with the lead developer, enhance PHP-based back-end systems, and take on some front-end responsibilities. Think of yourself as the conductor of the development orchestra—except cooler, because you'll have access to cutting-edge tools and a team that's as passionate as you are.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based solutions using PHP and MySQL.
  • Integrate REST, RESTful, and SOAP APIs to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality code standards.
  • Collaborate with the lead developer and team to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
  • Take on front-end responsibilities, including HTML, CSS (SCSS, LESS), and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Deploy and manage applications in a LAMP stack environment.
  • Use Git version control to manage code efficiently.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in web development.
  • Strong knowledge of OO MVC PHP and MySQL.
  • Experience with CodeIgniter (preferred) or other PHP frameworks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HTML, responsive design, and CSS pre-processors (SCSS, LESS).
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience working with REST, RESTful, and SOAP APIs.
  • Strong experience deploying and managing applications in a LAMP stack environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive attitude and passion for learning.
