Your Role as Senior LAMP Stack Developer

As a Senior LAMP Stack Developer (or as we like to call it, Code Wizard), you'll be the creative force behind building and maintaining web-based solutions. You'll collaborate closely with the lead developer, enhance PHP-based back-end systems, and take on some front-end responsibilities. Think of yourself as the conductor of the development orchestra—except cooler, because you'll have access to cutting-edge tools and a team that's as passionate as you are.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based solutions using PHP and MySQL.
  2. Integrate REST, RESTful, and SOAP APIs to ensure seamless functionality.
  3. Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality code standards.
  4. Collaborate with the lead developer and team to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
  5. Take on front-end responsibilities, including HTML, CSS (SCSS, LESS), and JavaScript/jQuery.
  6. Deploy and manage applications in a LAMP stack environment.
  7. Use Git version control to manage code efficiently.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of professional experience in web development.
  2. Strong knowledge of OO MVC PHP and MySQL.
  3. Experience with CodeIgniter (preferred) or other PHP frameworks.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of HTML, responsive design, and CSS pre-processors (SCSS, LESS).
  5. Solid understanding of JavaScript/jQuery.
  6. Experience working with REST, RESTful, and SOAP APIs.
  7. Strong experience deploying and managing applications in a LAMP stack environment.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  10. A proactive attitude and passion for learning.
