Primary Purpose of Position

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow). This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, automating workflows, creating custom applications, testing and realizing to improve operational efficiency. The Senior Developer will also mentor junior developers, ensure best practices, and maintain high-quality standards in solution delivery. The candidate is also expected to assist on the migration process of legacy applications built on SharePoint on-premises and Infopath form designer.

Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Manager – ADS PH, the following are expected from this role:

Solution Development:

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
  • Create automated workflows and processes using Power Automate.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365) and third-party systems.

Requirement Analysis:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and other teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions using the Power Platform.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in development, security, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide input to Manager – ADS PH on possible solutions to business requirements.

System Integration:

  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with external APIs, databases, and other systems.
  • Use connectors, custom APIs, and Azure services to extend platform capabilities.

Maintenance and Support:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of deployed solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications and workflows that are built on SharePoint on-premises, SharePoint Online and Infopath Designer.

Documentation and Training:

  • Document technical designs, processes, and user guides.
  • Train end-users and stakeholders on how to use Power Platform solutions effectively.

Innovation and Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest Power Platform features and updates.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensure that 3rd level SharePoint (on-premises and SharePoint online) related queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Retention of data integrity and applications are working properly after migration.
  • Ensure that developed applications are functioning based on requirements (quality).
  • Ensure that applications are delivered on the specified timeline.
  • Courteous and professional manner when communicating with users to foster and promote good working relations.

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor's/College Degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex business solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience with Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service) and custom connectors.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform licensing and governance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for reporting and analytics is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps) for advanced integrations.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, or Python for custom development.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and integration patterns.
  • Knowledgeable with SharePoint 2016 on-premises, Infopath Designer and SharePoint Designer is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of the SharePoint platform in terms of functionality, security model and technical limitations.
  • Advanced development skills using Power Apps/Power Automate.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technologies.
  • Ability to work efficiently (work independently, prioritize multiple projects/tasks while maintaining high standards of quality).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think out of the box (no specific user guide) to resolve issues and deliver projects based on requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to work effectively within the team.
  • Fast Learner and willingness to learn new knowledge.
