About the Role

Responsible for managing information technology's assets and procurements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software.
  • Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software license to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing strategies for technology spending and tracking assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Manage inventory of CIs and assets, ensuring modifications, withdrawals, and additions are recorded accurately.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of hardware and software models from introduction to retirement.
  • Manage activities concerning license compliance audits to respond effectively to requests from software editors.
  • Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports for asset and configuration management.
  • Manage daily IT hardware/software requests and issue Purchase Orders as needed.
  • Utilize tools and systems to communicate and collaborate effectively, while staying organized.
  • Recommend new products, services, or materials in line with industry trends.
  • Obtain quotes, compare, and negotiate pricing.
  • Work within multiple email aliases in a high volume of communications and ticketing systems.
  • Inform stakeholders of PO issuance and other details regarding orders.
  • Build relationships with key Technology vendors and follow sourcing policies and procedures.
  • Manage existing vendor partnerships to ensure timely delivery of products and services at competitive pricing.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting needs.
  • Mediate supplier issues and resolve disputes.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in planning and managing information technology assets; three (3) or more years in asset management in a technology environment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • University degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related fields preferred.
  • Ability to see the strategic view as well as process details.
  • Ability to work with various systems and data sources to gather required information.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable for accurate information.
  • Excellent English and Filipino communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • Proven experience in planning and managing information technology budgets and assets.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in budget, accounting, or finance in a technology environment.
