We are seeking a skilled Architect - Designer with 3 to 5 years of experience in designing solar panels for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate must be a licensed Civil Engineer and Architect with expertise in the solar power plant industry. This role involves designing and developing architectural and structural layouts for solar panel installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing design efficiency for sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop architectural and structural plans for solar panel installations, ensuring optimal layout for maximum energy efficiency and structural integrity.

  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the best locations and orientations for solar panel systems.

  • Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate solar panels into overall project designs.

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards related to solar power plant construction.

  • Use AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and other design software to create detailed drawings, 3D models, and visual representations of solar panel structures.

  • Optimize the use of space, materials, and costs to enhance project feasibility and sustainability.

  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation for permits and regulatory approvals.

  • Work closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with design requirements and expectations.

  • Provide architectural expertise in the structural integration of solar panels with different types of buildings and landscapes.

  • Stay updated with new technologies and innovations in solar energy design and sustainable architecture.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer or Licensed Architect.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in solar panel design and layout.

  • Preferably with experience in the solar power plant industry.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and other relevant design software.

  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods for solar panel installation.

  • Knowledge of renewable energy standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, and project engineers.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
