Revenue & Billing Management

• Review customer AR subledger accounts to ensure no credit balances exist.

• Ensure all cash transactions are accurately applied to customer accounts.

• Oversee the timely creation and application of credit memos.

• Communicate with the AR Global Team to correct billing errors.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Perform SSP (Standalone Selling Price) analysis and maintain processes for ongoing compliance.

• Conduct contract reviews, including MSAs, ASQs, and PO agreements.

• Resolve sales tax issues and communicate with U.S. state tax departments to ensure compliance.

• Lead sales tax audits and tax provisions for federal and state income tax returns.

• Participate in annual financial audits for both international and U.S. entities.

Reporting & Analysis

• Conduct ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and Power BI reviews at the customer store level.

• Analyze stock-based compensation expenses and equity grants, managing related accounting processes.

• Prepare equity rollforwards and document revenue and COGS memos.

• Track and report on revenue trends, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Team Leadership & Special Projects

• Manage and mentor Revenue Staff Accountants responsible for reviewing deals, quotes, and COGS amortization schedules.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Support, Logistics, Legal, and HR teams.

• Lead and execute special projects to support and streamline finance and accounting processes.

What You Bring

• At least 5 years of experience in Revenue Accounting.

• At least 3 years of experience in people management.

• Strong understanding of the U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and revenue recognition principles.

• Expertise in accounting systems, including MS Excel, Salesforce, NetSuite, Power BI, Carta, and Avalara.

• Ability to perform accounts analysis and reconciliation, including foreign exchange currency translations.

• Experience managing complex revenue and COGS processes with multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with tax compliance, including state sales tax and federal tax provisions.
