Overview

The PR Strategic Planner will play a key role in driving the development of data-driven pitch proposals (PR & Digital) for both potential and existing M2.0 clients. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams specializing in Content Development, Client Servicing, and Business Development, the Senior Strategic Planner will ensure the creation of compelling strategies that align with client objectives.

In addition to leading the development of pitch proposals, the Senior Strategic Planner will guide Research Assistants, equipping them with advanced skills in communication strategy. This includes conducting training sessions on basic deck/presentation creation and providing guidance on M2.0's presentation outline.

Furthermore, the Senior Strategic Planner, in conjunction with the Strategy Director, will actively participate in the team\'s operations and functions. Together, they will develop career development plans for team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring a high-performing and motivated team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Communication Plans: Create comprehensive and integrated communication strategies to support clients\' PR or Digital objectives, including identifying target audiences, crafting key messages, selecting channels, and outlining tactics to achieve outcomes.
  • Conduct Research and Analysis: Perform in-depth research to understand clients\' industries, target markets, competitors, and trends; use findings to inform strategy and campaign insights.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to align objectives with agency deliverables.
  • Lead Brainstorming and Ideation Sessions: Facilitate brainstorming to generate innovative PR or Digital concepts and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Develop PR & Digital Campaigns: Define campaign objectives, metrics, messaging, and coordinate cross-channel tactics aligned with client goals.
  • Monitor Industry Trends and Insights: Stay updated on trends and technologies in PR and communications; monitor media coverage and social media to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and evaluate campaign proposals to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Research with Agency Tools: Use agency tools to conduct thorough research and extract insights for data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify Impactful Insights: Analyze findings to identify key insights for compelling campaign narratives.
  • Provide Strategic Support to Current Clients: Collaborate with the Client Success Department to align client strategies with business objectives.
