Be part of our client's team as aNetwork Engineer, where you'll configure, maintain, and optimize network systems to ensure seamless connectivity. In this role, you'll play a key part in building high-performance networks while collaborating with top IT professionals in the industry.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or a related field.
  • At least 3 yearsof experience in a networking-related role.
  • Strong knowledge ofIPv4 and IPv6 networks.
  • Deep understanding ofEthernet switching technologies.
  • Expertise inMultiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).
  • Proficiency inIP routing and forwarding.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • CCNP certification or equivalent experience (preferred).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Configure, stage, and build network devices for installation in Superloop POPs within agreed timelines.
  • Migrate existing services onto newly installed infrastructure within agreed timelines.
  • Conduct regular network reviews to proactively identify necessary maintenance or upgrades.
  • Implement all changes in accordance with Superloop's change process and Network Engineering MOP guidelines.
  • Acknowledge and resolve support tickets escalated to Network Engineering in a timely manner.
  • Provide engineering support to NOC, Presales, and Provisioning teams within agreed response times.
  • Create and maintain accurate network documentation and inventory.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects within agreed timelines, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and goals.
  • Participate in the 24x7 on-call roster for Network Engineering.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Network Operations, Service Delivery, Network Provisioning, Presales, Products, Sales, and Commercial teams.
  • Ensure a high level of responsiveness across all Superloop communication channels.
  • Foster a learning environment that promotes continuous upskilling across the network engineering and support teams.
  • Complete mandatory cyber security training.
  • Complete mandatory workplace health and safety training.
