OVERVIEW:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and supporting financial decision-making processes. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Record financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner, including accounts payable/receivable.
  2. Prepare, review, and process invoices for billing and payments.
  3. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain regular cash flow reports.
  4. Assist in payroll processing for employees and ensure accuracy in wage calculations.
  5. Generate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  6. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  7. Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
  8. Contribute to the evaluation of financial processes and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely financial reporting.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of financial data and ensure data security protocols are followed.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  2. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is essential.
  3. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  8. Prior experience in a financial role in the E-commerce sector is a plus.

Work Environment:
