The Sr. People and Culture Business Partner is responsible for developing, researching, and implementing human resource policies that improve the employee work environment and focus on organizational priorities. A Sr. People and Culture Business Partner must have the ability to recognize hidden technical issues that hinder a company from achieving its goals. This role requires good collaboration and communication skills to effectively engage with employees throughout the organization and influence them at all levels.

Work Set Up: Onsite

Work Schedule: Night shift and occasionally Afternoon shift

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and develop a strategic relationship with client stakeholders by understanding business needs and recommending necessary approaches in compliance with Philippine labor laws and company processes.
  • Partner with business executives, leaders, and teams for the development of business strategies that boost productivity and growth.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all employment-related concerns, including documentation and certifications.
  • Oversee and review employee movement documentation for accuracy and ensure employees are updated on their new movements or status.
  • Conduct HR-related enablement sessions to keep employees informed on the latest policies, guidelines, and systems.
  • Ensure all HR-related service level agreements (SLAs) are met within agreed timelines.
  • Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance.
  • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
  • Research and develop policies for people and human resources management to achieve employee initiatives and campaign goals.
  • Work closely with HR teams on responsibilities like discipline management, employee performance management, compensation and rewards, and employee career development.
  • Act as a counselor, mentor, and consultant for business leaders to translate business requirements into HR initiatives and programs.
  • Analyze performance metrics to suggest improvements and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with HR and other department managers to resolve workspace and employee relations issues.
  • Work on employee rewards and compensation policies, salary increments, and bonuses.

LABOUR RELATIONS:

  • Ensure proper implementation of discipline management across all client staff in coordination with the Sr. Labour Relations Consultant.
  • Prepare and serve Notices to Explain (NTEs), Decision Memos (DMs), and conduct Administrative Hearings.
  • Handle the Exit Management Process (off-boarding) ensuring a proper exit process.
  • Spearhead the Exit Interview Process to understand attrition and build retention strategies.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 10+ years of proven experience working with HR teams on organizational initiatives.
  • Solid achievements as an HR professional.
  • Sound knowledge of employee rewards and compensation campaigns, and negotiation tactics.
  • Experience in employee management and dealing with executives.
  • Good mentorship and coaching skills.
  • Familiarity with human resource work and department practices.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of effective human resource department operations and the impact of the business work cycle on employee agendas.
