Liquor Brand Manager

Position Overview:
The Liquor Brand Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and management of marketing strategies and initiatives for a specific liquor brand or portfolio. This role involves driving brand awareness, increasing market share, and ensuring the brand's positioning aligns with the company's overall goals. The Brand Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and external agencies, to deliver impactful campaigns and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
    • Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Define the brand's unique selling proposition (USP) and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  2. Marketing Campaigns:
    • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, events, and experiential marketing.
    • Collaborate with creative agencies to develop compelling advertising materials, packaging designs, and promotional content.
    • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
  3. Product Portfolio Management:
    • Oversee the product lifecycle, including new product launches, line extensions, and product discontinuations.
    • Work closely with product development teams to ensure products meet consumer needs and align with brand positioning.
    • Manage pricing strategies and promotional plans to optimize profitability.
  4. Sales Support:
    • Partner with the sales team to develop tools and materials that support brand objectives and drive sell-through.
    • Provide training and resources to sales representatives to ensure they are equipped to effectively promote the brand.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.
  5. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the brand's marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Track expenses and report on budget performance to senior management.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external agencies, distributors, and key stakeholders.
    • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  7. Compliance and Brand Integrity:
    • Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and legal requirements.
    • Uphold the brand's image and reputation through consistent messaging and high-quality execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience in brand management, preferably within the liquor, beverage, or FMCG industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
