Overview

A Software Analyst's role is to study, review, and analyze user/client needs to create system solutions that support overall business strategies. Document system requirements, define scopes and objectives, and assist in developing system specifications. Ensures the quality of system development and implementation.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Office Location

DMG Center, Domingo M. Guevara St. Mandaluyong City

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course.
  • At least a year of experience in the Business Systems Analyst field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and has a strong analytical and organizational skills; detail-oriented
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business and customer needs
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to learn new applications and system features quickly
  • Dedicated to the best possible customer experience and takes initiative toward improving it
  • Ability to articulate technical and functional concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Has good communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Knowledgeable in MS Visio
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and solid communication with all levels of management
  • Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Job Description
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Determine the priority and criticality of requirements
  • Determine completeness of application/solution and facilitate UAT
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing work instructions, and help desk support; training users
  • Design new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications; and improving systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming a project team; and establishing a project budget
  • Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures
  • Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
