Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

This position requires performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, preventive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop & carry out a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for utility equipment, molding, stamping, tool room, and assembly machines.
  2. Optimize equipment according to standard procedures, enhancing performance and product quality, and ensure the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  3. Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
  4. Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high standards and accuracy.
  5. Manage the process of introducing new machinery, from drawing up specifications to managing suppliers.
  6. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
  7. Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels, and systems to deliver projects, including engaging external resources as required.
  8. Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
  9. Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team that meets objectives and delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements.
  10. Set department objectives/KPIs and review ongoing performance of direct reports.
  11. Prepare the annual maintenance budget, forecasts, and all capital expenditure proposals, ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to project completion.
  12. Manage cross-functional team members and follow-up skills.
  13. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
  14. Support, comply, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, the company handbook, quality, environmental standards, and all other company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years' experience and practitioner in the field of electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Special skills and knowledge in hydraulic/pneumatic/PLC controls.
  • Specialization in molding machines, stamping machines, assembly line SPM machines, compressors, DG sets.
