• Assist in the preparation of quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports under both IFRS and U.S. GAAP to meet external reporting obligations and internal management needs.
• Review internally reported subsidiary data, workbooks and reporting packages to ensure accuracy
• Contribute to the monthly financial close process, including account reconciliations, variance analyses, and system uploads.
• Compile and maintain documentation to support the financial reports and disclosures
• Review eXtensible Business Resource Language (XBRL) and European Single Electronic Format (ESEF)
• Maintain strong internal controls over the financial reporting process, including disciplined and high-quality documentation, tie-outs and proof-reading.
• Assist in compiling and reviewing documentation for internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control standards.
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley internal control narratives and testing documentation for areas of responsibility
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to automation, data quality, and reporting efficiency across financial and sustainability disclosures.
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting projects as necessary

• University Degree in Accountancy
• Passed (or pursuing) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
• Prior accounting related internship or part-time experience
• Foundational understanding of S. GAAP and IFRS principles.
• Experience in SAP and reporting software (i.e. Workiva Wdesk) is preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Applications and a high level of comfort working with financial systems.
• Understanding the principles of Sarbanes-Oxley control

• Strong process design orientation, a strong ability to identify risk exposures and a keen ability to identify risk prevention and risk mitigating solutions
• Critical thinker, mathematical aptitude, strong written and verbal communication skills, and problem solving
• Excellent interpersonal skills effective for interaction at all levels of the organization
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks
• Self-directed and hands-on; able to work with minimal supervision; maintaining composure under pressure while meeting deadlines
