About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our Manila-based team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processes for our Australian clients, ensuring precision, compliance, and efficiency across all pay cycles. Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll on weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles for Australian clients
- Ensure accurate calculation of employee wages, entitlements, and superannuation
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in line with Fair Work and ATO requirements
- Manage new hires, terminations, adjustments, and complex pay scenarios
- Ensure compliance with STP (Single Touch Payroll), PAYG, and Superannuation regulations
- Handle payroll-related inquiries and issues with professionalism and clarity
- Prepare and present accurate reports for finance and HR teams (e.g., summaries, audits)
- Stay updated with changes in Australian payroll legislation, EBAs, and awards
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Australian payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of Fair Work legislation, awards, and EBAs
- Experience with systems like Xero, KeyPay, MYOB, or Employment Hero
- Familiarity with ATO reporting standards, superannuation, and leave accruals
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a client-focused approach
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally
- Experience working with Australian stakeholders is highly regarded
- Must be willing to work full-time in our office at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City
- Shift: 6AM–3PM, Monday to Friday
