Responsibilities:
  • Handles the review and ensures tax compliance of the vendor's invoices
  • Processes accounts payable and ensures applicable tax is applied
  • Posts accounts payable entries
  • Ensures accounts payable are paid on time or based on scheduled payment
  • Responsible for ensuring an effective filing system
  • Responsible for tax filing and payment
  • Implements and ensures Accounts Payable and Finance Department processes and procedures are followed
  • Ensures that challenges and issues are escalated to the direct leader and/or head of the department
  • Performs ad-hoc tasks as might be requested by the direct leader and/or head of the department
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting-related courses
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Accounts Payable
  • Willing to report daily in San Juan, Manila office
  • Experience in basic tax filing is required
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with AP systems is an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management, organizational, time management, and communication skills
