We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS cloud operations, managing on-premises hardware servers, cloud virtual server instances, patch management systems such as Kaseya VSA, and Active Directory management. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AWS Cloud Operations: Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, VPCs, and other AWS services.
  • On-Premises Hardware Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical servers.
  • Cloud Virtual Server Management: Deploy, monitor, and manage virtual server instances in cloud environments.
  • Patch Management: Utilize patch management systems like Kaseya VSA to ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.
  • Active Directory Management: Administer and maintain Active Directory, including user account management, group policies, and security settings.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and systems.
  • Security Management: Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing best practices and security measures. Oversee and resolve security incidents escalated by the Managed Security Operations Center (MSOC).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and operations.
  • Experience with managing on-premises hardware servers and cloud virtual server instances.
  • Proficiency in using patch management systems such as Kaseya VSA.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
