We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in SAP Basis administration, who are looking to take on challenging projects and contribute to the success of our clients. The SAP Basis Consultant will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems to ensure their optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP System Administration:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, CRM, SCM, and Solution Manager.
  • Manage SAP system landscapes to guarantee optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot SAP environments for efficient operations.

System Maintenance and Support:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as system backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Manage and apply SAP patches, updates, and kernel upgrades to keep systems up-to-date.
  • Provide technical support for SAP Basis-related issues to resolve incidents and problems promptly.

User and Security Management:

  • Administer SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations to ensure secure access to systems.
  • Implement and manage security measures, including SAP GRC, to safeguard SAP environments.

Database Administration:

  • Manage databases (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server, etc.) underlying SAP systems, including backups, restores, and performance optimization.
  • Perform database administration tasks like table space management, reorganization, and monitoring.

System Integration and Projects:

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications.
  • Lead or participate in SAP system migration, upgrade, and implementation projects.
  • Provide technical input and guidance during project planning and execution phases.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create comprehensive documentation for SAP Basis activities, configurations, and processes.
  • Generate reports on system performance, health checks, and compliance with company standards.
