What is this role about?

The Supply Planning and Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the continuous, cost-efficient flow of quality products from loadports to depots and terminals. This includes developing and executing optimal supply plans based on demand forecasts, maintaining balanced inventory levels, coordinating marine freight logistics, and managing supplier relationships. The role also involves purchase order processing, service level agreement alignment, and proactive risk management to support operational continuity and efficiency.

What will YOU do?

  • Prepare optimal supply plans based on demand forecasts by conducting data gathering, analysis, and team alignment to ensure continuous product flow at minimum cost
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of each product to support sales growth and secure flow, revisiting lead times and replenishment schedules as needed
  • Ensure sufficient inventory buffers are in place to mitigate risks from delays, sales surges, or unforeseen disruptions by coordinating closely with Marketing and Demand Planning
  • Facilitate marine freight planning and cost-effective execution to support cost leadership objectives while ensuring continuity of supply from loadport to depots and terminals
  • Provide planning and operational insights during supply contract review to ensure alignment with business needs, including terms related to volume, delivery, lead time, and SLAs
  • Create and manage purchase orders using ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) to formalize supply agreements, ensuring accuracy in supplier details, quantities, pricing, and payment terms
  • Draft and align SLAs with suppliers and internal stakeholders to define expectations on lead time, order cut-offs, reconciliation processes, and other key operational standards
  • Ensure to foster effective communication and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams (e.g., Sales) to align on demand performance, resolve planning issues, and drive improvements
  • Evaluate suppliers on delivery performance, pricing, and product quality through a structured monitoring system to support continuous improvement in supply operations
  • Contribute to company-wide objectives by ensuring reliable supply at optimal cost, enabling sales growth, and supporting margin improvement initiatives through operational excellence

What will YOU need?

  • At least 3 years of supply planning and operations experience - preferably with people management experience as well
  • Knowledge and/or background in data analytics
  • Willing to do fieldwork as needed
